Thunder Bay Family Dentistry is open and treating patients under some restricted care. We have implemented practice procedures and precautions to protect our patients and staff. These procedures will temporarily change the way you check in and how much time is alloted for your appointment.
Below are questions that you will have to answer before your appointment:
1. Have you travelled outside of the state in the past 14 days?
2. Do you have a fever or have you been ill in the last 14 days?
3. Do you have a cough?
4. Do you have a recent loss of taste or smell?
5. Have you cared for or been exposed to someone who is known to have COVID19?
6. Have you had a recent COVID19 test? Is it outstanding or do you have the results?
If you answered yes to any one of these questions, we are requesting postponement of your scheduled appointment. If you answered no to these questions but are over the age of 65 and have heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, or are auto-immune, you may want to consider postponing or rescheduling your appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment, the reception area will be closed off to all patients. we are asking you to stay in your car until your scheduled appointment time. You will need to call 989-354-8112 to inform us you are there. We will either call you back on your cell phone or walk out to bring you in when the room is ready.
We thank you for your understanding and patience regarding these changes!
